The Channels team at 1Password is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our group of engineers. This team focuses on leveraging partnerships and third-party integrations to reach out to new customers and expand into new markets. It’s an exciting opportunity to help 1Password bring our brand of security to more businesses and humans than ever before! You will focus on feature development of these new products, including building beautiful, functional interfaces and helping us plan and map out future implementations.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada, the United States, and Netherlands.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience building polished web components with clean, intuitive interfaces
- A solid understanding of core web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JS, etc)
- Experience with Typescript and microservice architecture
- Demonstrated skills building with modern frontend libraries such as React
- A security-first approach to development
- Consideration for code quality with an ability to deliver appropriate and effective feedback to teammates
- An enthusiastic attitude to learn while tackling new features and make existing ones better
- A healthy balance of being able to work collaboratively while also taking responsibility for assigned tasks
- Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate complex technical problems and propose iterative solutions
- Someone who values autonomy and enjoys space to make your own decisions
- Experience with shipping quality software quickly, focusing on customer value and iteration

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $121,000 USD and $163,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $109,000 CAD and $147,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
