ACHC is currently recruiting a creative and detail-oriented WordPress Web Designer to lead efforts related to the creation and maintenance of ACHC’s multipurpose websites. This role will provide research, strategy, design, and development of web marketing programs to support the ACHC brand.
With a proven track record in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, the ideal candidate will possess a passion for quality in their work. Problem-solving skills are critical, as is a strong eye for detail and design used to effectively create engaging user experiences both internally and externally.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Designing and developing website’s architecture as well as building new features and functionalities.
- Building the website front-end and conducting website performance tests.
- Analyzing website performance and troubleshooting errors.
- Handling the backend of the website, including database and server integration.
- Ensuring high-performance and managing all the technical aspects of the CMS.
- Maintain well-documented and reusable code.
- Works collaboratively with marketing and other company teams across a variety of media.
- Creates and designs new and existing marketing collateral as assigned.
- Ensures that all creative executions adhere to the ACHC brand style guide and meet or exceed quality expectations.
- Perform other marketing related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience working as a WordPress Web Designer.
- Extensive knowledge in PHP (LAMP stack).
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience working with debugging tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to handle and manage multiple projects.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
This position can be office-based at our NC headquarters (with hybrid Remote working privileges) or 100% remote nationwide.
