Description
Our business is growing and we’re hiring a lead developer. This role will start at 5 – 10 hours per week, with the opportunity for expansion.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on all our technical tasks and projects. You’ll work closely with the founder to define the projects and their approach, then work with 1 – 2 junior developers to build and deploy.
We use a 100% custom theme with the following tech stack:
Timber – Awesome plugin that transforms WordPress into an MVC like system. Speeds coding and easier to mantain.
AFC – awesome plugin that makes working with custom fields in WordPress so easly.
Webpack – We use it to transpile Sass to CSS and optimise JS.
Twitter Bootstrap – great UI boilerplate for modern web apps
SASS – Great way to code for CSS and be efficient.
jQuery – You know… WordPress still uses it so there are some parts with it.
WP Engine + Github
We’re looking for someone with strong, demonstrable success in most or all of the above.

We’re searching for someone with exceptional skills in these areas:

– a small amount of ecommerce API work
– Strong & thorough written communicator: when you provide an update or ask a question, you include all necessary information.

– For some projects, we also need you to be on Skype, so you can talk to our external partners
– if we need a meeting, we use zoom with the camera on. But we keep meetings to a minimum, which is why we only hire strong written communicators.
